FLEET MARK ORDER

You can now customise the exact sequence of marks for every fleet, set rounding directions, and define laylines. This update allows you to:

Understand your total course distance at a glance.
Calculate estimated target times based on predefined class types and wind conditions. This takes the guesswork out of course length and ensures better, more consistent racing.
Display rounding directions for clear, easy reading.
Add upwind or downwind laylines to any specific mark.
Automatically draw the correct lines between marks. For courses with multiple fleets, toggle fleets on and off to view a clutter-free course map for any specific group.

Best of all, your course details, rounding directions, laylines and guidelines are automatically available on Trace.

BUOY ZONE & MARKSETBOT

Buoy Zone and MarkSetBot (MSB) have been partnered for several years, with one shared focus: making it quick and easy to set accurate yacht racing courses every time. Buoy Zone unlocks MSB by letting the race management team work within the Buoy Zone interface, which supports a vast array of courses, from standard Olympic to class-specific and many permutations in between. With a few taps in Buoy Zone, your course is available in the MSB Commander app, and MSB handles getting the automated marks positioned in exactly the right spot. Setting a complex course in challenging conditions, and then adjusting it for a wind shift, has never been easier.

No more linking accounts - You no longer need to connect your Buoy Zone and MSB accounts with a common email address. Buoy Zone courses in your area now show up directly in the MSB app. Just pick the course your MSB marks should be placed on.

Shared live mark positions - Live MSB mark locations now appear in Buoy Zone for the whole race management team. Sailors and spectators following along on Trace see them too.

Live weather observations - On-the-water weather observations from MSB go straight to the race management team, and to sailors and spectators on Trace.
