To ensure competitors are given the option to join the correct fleet, the Race Officer must create the Fleets which will be sailing on the course. This can be done initially when creating a new course or retrospectively in the Advanced menu under Race Officer Serttings near the bottom.
List all competitors per fleet and see their distance to you or any mark on the course; useful for the finish boat to see the order of boats as they approach the finish line, or the RO from the start line looking to get another race underway.
View all competitors on a map, with each fleet shown in their colour.
Add Trace Fleets when creating a course or in the Advanced Course settings
On the map view see all competitors on the course
See a list of competitors by their fleet who have joined the course ordered by distance from the selected location
This feature adds the ability for the Race Officer to change the default colours of buoy/marks to reflect what is being set on the water to better support the support/mark boats to drop the correct buoys. This can be a challenge when different coloured buoys are used.
The Race Officer is able to make changes by selecting Course Details tab at the top of the map screen and then taping the colour pallet for the specfic mark they're wanting to change the default colour for.
Tap Course Details
Tap to change colour for this (X1) buoy/mark
Select buoy colour
